A no-code NFT builder on Solana — letting artists and creators generate and launch NFT collections without writing code or hiring developers, while keeping full control over rarity, metadata, and royalties.
Merger X is a no-code NFT builder built on the Solana blockchain, designed to help creators generate and launch NFT collections without writing code or hiring developers.
The product targets artists, creators, and collectors who want to create, manage, and mint NFT collections while maintaining full control over rarity, metadata, and royalties.
Creating NFT collections traditionally requires:
These barriers prevent many creators from launching collections independently — especially those without strong technical or financial backing.
I worked as part of a four-person design team across a 12-week timeline.
We reviewed existing no-code and NFT creation platforms to understand common patterns, gaps, and friction points. Most tools either favoured technical users or exposed too much blockchain complexity, making them difficult for non-technical creators to use.

These insights influenced our focus on progressive disclosure, autosave, simplified rarity controls, and team-based royalty distribution.
Given the complexity of NFT creation, mapping a clear user flow was critical to ensure users could complete the process without confusion or drop-off.

Rather than overwhelming users with blockchain complexity, we focused on progressive disclosure — showing only what users need at each stage of the creation process.
These decisions were driven by usability testing and early user feedback.

A waitlist page to prepare new users for onboarding.

The empty dashboard for new users, or users who haven't created any NFT yet.

The dashboard for users with generated NFTs.

The user uploads a folder and proceeds to NFT collection generation.

The user previews their uploaded folder before continuing.

The user organises attributes exactly how they want them.

The user fills in metadata about the NFT to be generated.

Allocation of traits by the user, controlling rarity across the collection.

Preview and filter the NFTs before finally generating them.

The settings page lets a user configure their team — adding members to help manage projects and share royalties between them.
The interface was designed to feel familiar and structured, even for users new to Web3 products.
While Merger X was an early-stage product, the project reinforced several key lessons.
This project strengthened my ability to design usable products in technically complex domains and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Merger X represents my early experience designing for Web3 products, with a strong focus on usability, clarity, and accessibility. The project laid a foundation for my later work on complex systems such as e-commerce platforms, dashboards, and payment products.
